Bountifully + Question!

Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.”
Psalm 116:7

✨This verse is the verse that jumped out and grabbed my heart this morning! Return to your rest, O my soul.💆🏼‍♀️♥️ The Lord truly has dealt bountifully with me! For “He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me, For there were many against me.(Psalm 55:18). The Lord God is “my strength and song, and is become my salvation”(Psalm 118:14) and I am “sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”(Hebrew 10:10)! 😍 I would absolutely love to hear in the comment below what scripture has encouraged your heart today!! 👇🏻👇🏻

“Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.”
1 Peter 1:18-21

  1. Aw, I have really been loving Proverbs 19:23!! <3
"The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil."

  2. I was pondering upon “For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found” (Psalm 32:6), and I was wondering when exactly that time is and when not…

I found this in the Pulpit Commentary: ‘literally, in a time of finding, which some understand as a time when God “finds,” and visits, some iniquity in his servants, and others, as the Authorized Version, “in a time when thou art gracious, and allowest thyself to be found by those who approach thee.” ‘

Any other insights are welcome :)

    1. Wow Branda! I love how you really dove into that verse. I had never given much thought to it before! Going to go take a look now. ♥️ That is something I love about God’s Word! We could study it all day long every day and still find something new to study and be encouraged by. “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Heb 4:12

      1. Absolutely, Rachel! Every day I learn so many new things. Even after having read a passage numerous times we can receive completely fresh insights.
        God’s Word is awesome! :)

  3. Over the past few days this verse kept coming up: “But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it.” (Deut. 30:14) And I’m reminded that the living Word is near to His own — to every believer in Christ. What an amazing thought. Continued to read the last verse in Deuteronomy 30 where it says to love the LORD our God and to obey His voice and to cling to Him — ❤️
